Eclairs au Chocolat Daring Bakers, Daring Bakers Chocolate Eclairs

Not proud at all of this month’s challenge…Nothing to do with Meeta’s choice : on the contrary, I was extremely happy to have the opportunity to make PH’s Chocolate Eclairs. No, I meant that I just spoilt it all with my ugly decorations! Where was my head when I made…this? Probably still on holidays (yes, I know, very bad excuse). Meringues Pavlova aux Fruits Rouges, Pavlovas with mixed red berries

At last, the end of my fruity menu : The Pavlova meringues with mixed berries have decided to come along for the closure ceremony. Seem easy when you look at them, but quite tricky to make, actually : they can become chewy if you let them rest in your kitchen, because they love, love to absorb humidity…This is what happened to me, unfortunately. Now, I can tell you that, next time, I will not forget to leave them in the switched off oven until ready to be served.  Beside, do not expect a perfectly crunchy meringue both... [Lire la suite]

Menu tout fruits, part II : Nem de Chèvre frais et Pomme granny Smith, Goat Cheese and granny apple "Spring roll"

Ok, let's go on with my "all fruity menu" started some days ago but interrupted by my new Daring Bakers Challenge (posting dates are not flexible with the DB's). As a reminder, the idea was to propose at least one fruit in each dish, from the aperitive drink to the dessert.
