Piqûre de rappel : C'est le bon moment pour les crêpes ! Time for a good Crêpe !

Pâte à crêpes inratable au Blender / Unmissable crepes dough, using a blender This recipe has already been posted last year, but as I still have to find a better and easier crepe dough recipe, I have decided to post it again this year !!Many of you might think that we, Parisians, have crepes all year long, and enjoy buying them at the closest crepe street vendor. I am sorry to say that this is a “cliché”.First, We prefer to make our own crepes at home (so easy) rather than buying them from a street vendor : many of them use... [Lire la suite]

Un peu de soleil du Maroc à notre table ! "Under the Moroccan sun"-like tagine !

Tajine d'Agneau aux Poires Moroccan Lamb Tagine with Pears Really, I swear the photos don't do justice to this dish. I can even say that if I had seen these pictures on someone else's foodblog, I would have thought : " my god, this lamb looks fatty !". Actually, what looks like fat is the thick pear sauce on top of the meat. I really was craving for comfort food : we have had an awful weather here; it has snowed three times in two weeks, which is very rare in Paris. Even though I do not have any moroccan origin, I...

A Crumble as a side, why not ?

Artichauts et Courgettes en Crumble de Parmesan et NoisettesArtichoke and Zucchini with Parmesan and Hazelnut Crumble When I have guests, it is quite easy for me to decide on a menu : I try to fit my guests tastes (when I know them), their possible restrictions (vegetarians, kosher, food allergies,...), or simply my feelings of the moment. Well, I should be more precise : Choosing a starter, a main and a dessert is an easy task, but, as for the sides, I often find myself without a clue : a purée ? not classy. A gratin ? Too... Topinambours, acte II scène II, Jerusalem Artichokes, act II

Velouté de Topinambours et Patates doucesJerusalem Artichoke and Sweet Potato Soup Oh well...I wanted to act like a non-conformist girl with my anti-detox recipe (Nutella Tiramisu), but as one says : "the leopard can't change its spots", lol ! I am a reasonnable person in every fiber of my being, this is why today's recipe is as reasonnable as me : a soup ! After I recently found out, to my big surprise, that I did like Jerusalem Artichokes, I was wondering what vegetable could strike up a friendship with them :... [Lire la suite]

Un dessert anti-detox ! An anti-detox dessert !

Tiramisu au NutellaNutella Tiramisu Good resolutions, what good resolutions ? While plenty of foodblogs are now proposing detox recipes, I am just doing the exact opposite with this totally decadent dessert ! Mascarpone cheese and Nutella, what can be richer ? And yes, just like you, I had my dose of foie gras, smoked salmon, roast poultry, bûches and so on, but I always have an itsy bitsy room  for dessert ! I got the idea from a restaurant where we had dinner last week : my hubby chose it on the menu and when he... [Lire la suite]
