Amok et Lok Lak pour un menu 100% Cambodge/Beef Lok Lak and Fish Amok for a 100% Cambodian menu !

  Chose promise, chose due : il vous a fallu patienter un peu, mais les recettes typiques du Cambodge, évoquées dans mon dernier billet, sont bel et bien là ! Je peux vous dire que je me suis régalée à les faire :  elles sont simples et savoureuses, et surtout ultra-rapides ! La seule vraie difficulté technique rencontrée a été de concevoir des petites caissettes en feuilles de banane : les arts manuels et moi, ça a toujours fait deux pour ne pas dire trois ! A little gourmet trip to Cambodia, anyone ?

  Pour la version en français, cliquez ici. Like many of you, I guess, I had never heard nor had the opportunity to taste Khmer cuisine. Quand un reste de rosbif nous emmène en Asie...The traveling roastbeef leftover...

Comme un petit air d'Alaska...Alaska is in the air...

Tartare de Saumon aux Granny Smith et à l'AvocatSalmon Tartare with Avocado and Granny Smith Last summer, I was in Alaska. Mind you, I was wearing fleece and a raincoat while you were parading on the beach in your tiny bikinis, lol !  But there, I had the priviledge to see tons of wild fish happily living their lives in the ice-cold rivers, swimming against the current.
